I Believe in You

I believe in the way that you are
and the way you will be.
I believe in the things that you say.
Coz' you mean the world to me.

And if you should go, if you should
turn around one day,
if you should ever doubt your dreams
in any way, don't think twice about it.

Don't worry too long
about whether you'll find a place
for yourself in the world
where you belong.

I believe in the way that you are
and the way you will be.
You are a shining star in this world
and you mean the world to me.

The Threat of Nature

Nature: Before and After

An ecological crisis occurs when the environment of a species or a population changes in a way that destabilizes its continued survival. There are many possible causes of such crises; it may be that the environment quality degrades compared to the species' needs, after a change of abiotic ecological factor. It may be that the environment becomes unfavorable for the survival of a species due to an increased pressure of predation. Lastly, it may be that the situation becomes unfavorable to the quality of life of the species due to the rise in the number of individuals. Those can be the possible causes of the ecological crisis. But what will happen to mankind if this crisis kept on happening again and again? Can we humans get out of this big problem before it comes to us and take revenge?

For students like me, I realized that as years go by, our mother nature becomes dreadful. It is because of the practices done by mankind. In the end, the ones who started it will be the one to suffer. Well, as a part of this world we can change the nature back to its original look. Even little things can make big changes. Planting trees help restore the balance between animals and humans. Trees serve as shelter for some animals. But if we continue on cutting trees and not replacing it with new ones, animals will be force to find shelter in our place making the natural balance uneven. Trees also hold the soil and prevent landslides and floods. But if there are no trees left, what will prevent those phenomena on happening? That’s why after cutting down old trees we should replace it with new ones. Segregating our garbage can also help in preventing natural phenomena to happen. In segregating the garbage, the biodegradable is separated from recyclable materials and also the non biodegradable. If we don’t segregate it, we will be the ones who will also suffer. We should also throw our trash in the proper wastebasket to make the environment clean and to help prevent flood. We should not waste paper and other materials. If in any case we can use it again, lets recycle it because it will not only help you not to spend much, but we will also help preserve our nature.

There are many ways in turning back the beauty of nature. If we just do it step by step and hand-in-hand, we can achieve what we want to happen. Change is good if not only you will benefit but also the other people around you. Always remember that we cannot live without nature by our side. It helps us in fulfilling our daily needs. Don’t wait for the day that all of us are going to repay for what we’ve started. So take a step and make a change for the better.

If Happy Ever After did Exist..

Were there times when you felt tired of harsh endings? Like reading one of Shakespeare’s best pieces ever made to find out that the girl and the boy will just die in the end? Doesn’t it make you feel heartrending? Let’s turn the tragic ending of Romeo and Juliet into a comedy. Full of laughter and tears of joy! And the comic relief of Romeo and Juliet starts here.

When Balthasar knew that they will go to Juliet’s tomb, he refused to come with Romeo for he is scared of the dead people lying there on the grave beneath the ground. So Romeo went alone to Juliet’s tomb. When he was already in the place, he was surprised of what he saw. Juliet’s body wasn’t there. Romeo didn’t know of what to do. After a while, he heard of footsteps coming towards him. He thought that it was Paris who was just going to visit Juliet’s tomb. So for his safety, he held his sword and he was ready to fight. But instead of seeing Paris, he saw Juliet. He was stunned to see Juliet standing in front of him. He was so scared that Romeo hid behind Juliet’s tomb, Juliet burst into laughter because of Romeo’s epic reaction.

Juliet called out Romeo to go out from where he was hiding. Juliet told Romeo that she was still alive. She told him that she only drank a vial that will make her fall asleep as if she was already dead. So Romeo, knowing that Juliet wasn’t a ghost, went out of his hiding place and run towards Juliet to give her a hug. Romeo told Juliet how he missed her. Their conversation lasted only for an hour and kissed each other passionately as if the world only rotates for them. And they lived happily ever after.

What if?

What if the story of Romeo and Juliet ended happily and not tragically?

The ending of the play was just I expected how it would end. But for me, it had a horrible ending.  So I decided to modify some parts of the Act V Scene III of Romeo and Juliet. Like in the scene where Romeo went to Juliet’s tomb. He should have gone to Friar Lawrence first to ask why Juliet committed a suicide. Then Friar Lawrence will tell him their plan, then they will both go to Juliet’s tomb to wait for her to wake up. Then the Capulet and Montague family with the Prince will witness it. Then they will ask Juliet why she did that. Then Juliet will tell everything about it. After that, each family will now realize that they should end their war for they don’t want anyone to die just to end it. Then Romeo and Juliet will get married and live happily ever after.
